Cité 9 has been part of Lens’ heritage for generations and the new hotel aims to showcase and share that heritage also via the Galibot, the modern-day tavern open to the public. The extension of the restaurant offers a lovely view over the restored workers’ gardens and the kitchens run by the Chef.
The name is a tribute to the mining life and the children who worked it.
In order to fulfil the promises made, the Chef recreates the classics of local cuisine and selects his suppliers with care.
