Landscapes - a temporary exhibition gently reminding us of the need to protect nature. The exhibition’s layout was designed by an artist to highlight landscape painting from the Renaissance to modern day in a spectacular, unprecedented fashion.
The order of the sections has been arranged to make visitors wonder about the stages the artist goes through to paint a landscape. The exhibition also explains how mathematics are used, how nature’s metamorphosis affects us emotionally as well as how a painting narrates.
Take advantage of this opportunity to contemplate famous and unexpected works by artists such as Claude Monet, Jean-François Millet and Joan Mitchell. The Louvre-Lens museum pays tribute to female artists.
In addition to the works on show, the exhibition offers visitors an exclusive, multi-sensorial experience.
Please book the Cultural Stay offer if you wish to see the exhibition during your stay at the Hôtel Louvre-Lens:
